Resilience - a way to positive mindframe.

Resilience:

The ability to be flexible to STAY POSITIVE in any type of negative circumstances. 

It is the ability to procure the resources that can be grown into positive state of mind.

The skill of Resilience can be developed by following  HIEC :  HOPEFUL, INSPIRED, ENGAGED,  & CONNECTED. 

How to be HOPEFUL?

Set targets in front of you.
No matter big or small.
Keep marching small small steps towards that target.
Take baby steps every day to get closer to your target.

How to stay INSPIRED ?

Staying Inspired is often a big challenge specially in negative circumstances. 
Pull in positive people in your circle.
Push out negative people from your circle. 
Fake right guidance and consultation at the right time.

How to stay ENGAGED ?

Staying DISCIPLINED  is one strong way to stay ENGAGED.
Define and set time to complete task.
Set daily targets instead of long term goals and achieve it every day.
Acquire an interesting and passionate ways to achieve daily targets.

How to stay CONNECTED 

How to look forward to the positive aspects even in a negative situation?
Showing some Gratitude.
Showing care to oneself and others.
Passion plays a big role in staying connected.

Resilience is not about sweeping away the negatives.
Its about meeting the negatives and positives.
Its about holding the POSITIVES and NEGATIVES side by side.

Therefore,  there is an upward spiral between Positive Emotions and Resilience.

WHY BEING RESILIENT IS IMPORTANT IN LIFE?

Its very easy to become a person who looks at negatives as negative.
And positives as positives and strive for positivity.

So why is it important to balance the positive and negative and see both equally, at the same time stay flexible to boost up the spirits too?

A sustainable way to lead a life is to balance negatives and make them part of your life instead of flushing or sweeping them out.
This Resilient attitude comes through GRATITUDE and HOPEFULNESS.

Once we see Negatives as part of our life.
One we adopt Negatives as friendly as Positives, We start flourishing in life with a very POSITIVE attitude.

So for a RESILIENT person, POSITIVES & NEGATIVES are like TWIN brothers or their own sons/daughters. So they will keep both with equal gratitude.

This attitude of adopting Negatives in ones life, REDUCES the SORROWS and INCREASES SERENITY which in turn brings on an overall POSITIVE ATTITUDE.

EMPATHY

Where does it take you?
How does it benefit you?

Is empathy a skill that you can learn and build up or an art that you are born with?

Empathy is a very basic nature that can exist in humans or animals.


The ability to understand the feelings of the other person.
At the same time the ability to understand what the other person might be feeling or thinking.

At the same time, it's a must learn skill that makes it easier for you to understand others and their feelings.

What does Empathy Looks like :

1. Talk to a person.

2. Acknowledge their pain or sorrow.

3. Tell them , I understand and share how you feel.

4. Show gratitude so that the other person opens up.

5. Be very encouraging.

6. Be supportive.

7. Encourage the person to live positive and help them connect with themselves.

 

 


Lessons of EMPATHY:


(A) Inside you might be SAD or BROKEN.
But outside you must show the world how STRONG you are.
As your STRENGTH may affect someone with positivity who highly needs it that that point of time.

(B) Focus on mass changes in the social environment.
Bring changes in people.
Listen to people.

 

(C) Empathy starts with Self Care.
Empathy starts with SELF CARE.
You Can wear other’s shoes only when you are STRONG and HAPPY enough to try that.


You cant be concerned about others until and unless you take care of your own.
Stress Management is the TOP NEED in today's world.
Regular workout is at the TOP to Manage Stress.

Once you start seeing the situations from others point of view, you learn to respect them.

 

Adversity is a great teacher where you learn the skill of empathy, understand the situation form other’s point of view  and be a BETTER YOU.


 

 


There are 3 types of Empathy:
Cognitive : or Perspective taking is the ability to identify and understand other person’s emotions.


Compassionate :
Emotional 

 

 

What is the Difference between Sympathy and Empathy?

 

Sympathy :  A shared feeling of sorrow, pity, compassion that you show for the other person.

 

Empathy : Empathy is Stronger than Sympathy.

Empathy shows your ability to think yourself in other person’s shoes and then understand their feelings by identifying with them.

I will SHINE. 

No matter how HARD life is. 

It may KNOCK me DOWN.

But it will NEVER KEEP me DOWN.

Stretch your arms towards positivity.
Like a flower bends towards sunlight, you bend towards positivity to flourish.

A regular workout habit is one of such sunshine that you should bend towards in order to stay positive,  active and flourish.

Stand in front of the mirror and say this : 
I dont feel the need to criticize someone else in order to prove my WORTH.
I am STRONG and SERENE enough to climb my ladder of SUCCESS
