It's your SOUL that's always with you in your journey.
Be it PROSPERITY
Be it ADVERSITIES.
Your SOUL is your own shadow that always accompanies you irrespective of the circumstances.
Some times you follow the shadow.
Some days shadow follows you.
It's your soul that sometimes guides you to deal with the path and sometimes follows you from behind to ensure if you are marching on the right path.
In order to achieve that your soul guides you for the correct path,
you must learn and adopt soulful thinking.
You must learn the skill of articulating your thoughts.
So that when your soul leads you.
You can close your eyes and peacefully follow.
How do you define Adversities?
Adversities are the circumstances or the situations that goes adverse / negative or wrong in your journey.How do you learn to cope with adversities so that they become a blessings for you?
The first reaction after any situation, that we experience or train our mind to experience - that 2,5 seconds of thought process that strikes in our mind after any situation - is the main decisive factor about how are you going to actually react to that situation.
For example : how will you react after a good news, a sad news or an adverse situation?
1. You get Angry
2. You get Anxious - Anxiety
3. You get Happy
4. You stay calm and do not react
5. You feel hurt.
etc etc.
These reactions are the outcome of those 2-5 seconds of initial thoughts that conquered your mind after that situation occurred.
So the equation goes like :
Situation -> the immediate thought trigger for 2-5 seconds -> your reaction to the situation
Here, the middle part of the equation is key element to help you understand and cope up well with any Adverse Situation so that you can convert that as your blessings.
So now the Question :
how do we train for the middle part of the equation - that is " the immediate 2-5 seconds thought trigger after the situation " ? ? ?
So its not unachievable.
But its not easy to attain too.
Steps 1 - Take all the measures to control your thoughts.
Step 2 - Take all the measures to connect with your thoughts.
Adopt all the methods to do the above 2 steps.
Think
Brainstorm
Self Talking
and MOST importantly
Focus on learning EMPATHY.
Once you attain Empathy (you can read my another blog to understand what EMPATHY is), you will lean to control your thoughts too.
We have one more important area to focus on - when we are facing Adversities.
Adversities & Immune system
Chronic adversity is associated with:
Increased expression of pro-inflammatory genes.
Reduced expression of antiviral genes..
Reduced expression of antibody synthesis genes.
This makes people more susceptible to disorders of chronic inflammation and less able to ward off a virus.
Gene express is different then DNA. Our DNA doesn't change but how our DNA get made into the actual cell of our body - thats the gene expression part and that can be attuned to our emotional expression. Also to our activity level & diet.
The adversity pattern helps us in this increase expression of pro-inflammatory genes and decreased expression of anti-viral antibodies synthesis.

A regular workout results into a good muscle mass, joint flexibility and improved blood circulation.
This impacts our immune system and the stress bearing capacity improves.
This in turn trains our system to fight with Stress and Anxiety in Adverse situations.
Your immune system can register the biochemistry of your emotions and make some calibrations there.
Our EMOTIONAL WELL BEING is tied to our health therefore feeling good and positive is equally important as managing stress, eating healthy, being active.
